Worth the Wait?

  It's Wednesday afternoon and the only thing I can think about is Monday night.

  I keep joking with my friends that I want to go into a coma and wake up sometime Monday evening.

  I've been wishing my life away for several weeks now and as my friends, girlfriend and I welcomed in 2013 - I only kept talking the game January 7 in Miami.

  I'm a bit obsessive.

  I'm very nervous.  Realistically I understand there's a real good reason why Roll Tide is a 10-point-favorite.

  Because they're good.  They're really good and are clearly better than the Irish.

  However, I don't think either side is taking the other side lightly.

  Alabama head coach Nick Saban knows the Irish didn't get here on accident.  The Bama fans might like to diss us, but Saban and company know that big wins throughout the season put the Irish in this game.

  As for the other side, I know Brian Kelly will have the troops ready.

  Irish nation has been waiting decades for this.

  A win would make for the biggest night of my life.  A blowout loss would put me on suicide watch.\\

  I believe the Irish can win this game, but I'm not boasting or talking shit.

  I just want the game to come and go because this anticipation is driving me nuts.
