Out of Sight, Out of Mind

by Patrick Ronald

To be completely honest with I wouldn't be suprised if Derrick Rose hasn't watched a lick of the Heat vs Celtics series.

It's the geezers vs the babies.

The Boston team we would've ran through in five and the Miami team everyone in Chicago wanted a piece of.

I haven't heard a thing about Rose's rehab process and that's OK with this guy.

Given his quiet, humble, hardworking track record I'm confident he's resting, learning and becoming an even more solid basketball player.

I don't care about LBJ's 45 point performance.  Neither does Rose.  It would probably annoy him and break his heart since its not his squad.

Would the Bulls have beat the heat? No one knows.  We couldn't beat Philadelphia.

The fact that it's quiet on the front satisfies me.

However, the fact that Miami will be UNCHALLENGED next year and skate their way to a No. 1 seed does.

This playoffs sucked.  We had big plans here in Chicago and it hurt when it all happened and now it hurts when you see a Miami team struggle in the conference finals.

Miami doesn't deserve a trophy or ring and we have to watch it.

Fact is - we would've shut them Miami fools down.

The fact remains - it hurts.  It hurts really bad.
