If you haven't figured it out by now, then you have a difficult time identifying the obvious.
I love Chicago sports. This Bulls postseason push has been more than disappointing. As EVERYONE knows by now they went from being one of four teams to win a NBA title.
Between Chicago, Miami, Oklahoma City and San Antonio - one will be the last team standing, celebrating and hoisting a golden trophy.
However, since the Bulls chances at a title fell from 'a decent chance' to 'ZERO percent' I've encountered an enormous dilemma.
If they lose to Philadelphia tonight or Saturday, then now what?I love the White Sox, but (at least at the moment) I'm having a difficult time getting excited about a mediocre baseball club.
It doesn't mean my attitude won't change - I'm just saying how I feel about Chicago sports right now.
Personally, I need the Bulls to AT LEAST make it to the second round for my sanity.
One game at a time Chicago Bulls fans. Whether the Bulls win or lose tonight, they're coming home.
I think they'll be a game seven and I think the Bulls will win it.
They're just so much more talented than the 76ers. It's just so unexpected and typical of Chicago stars getting hurt in key spots.
Hey, maybe we beat Philadelphia and Atlanta forces a game seven against Boston tonight.
Then the second round will feature two 'beat up' teams who just were pushed to the limit. Maybe Indiana surprises the Heat and we beat Boston.
Maybe we beat a scrappy Pacers club and maybe we make it to the NBA Finals without DRose - I'm just saying.
It could happen.
I know you guys are laughing at my dream world scenario, but what's the point of being a fan if you can't hope.
I'm pinching myself and it seems EXTREMELY UNLIKELY, but hey, it could happen.
Let's Go Bulls - as I stated in an earlier article (Bulls get stomped in game six) - I hope I'm wrong.
