Bulls Playoff Hype - chime in

by Patrick Ronald

It's Wednesday afternoon and the Bulls are in Indiana tonight against a talented Pacers team.  They have only two games left.

With Miami's loss last night against Boston, the Bulls are officially the Eastern Conference's No. 1 seed.

The schedule has been hectic all year.  Back-to-back-to-backs and no practices.  No time for anyone to heal.

It's the same story for every team, so there are no excuses.

The bottom line is if the Bulls win out, then they will hold the NBA's best record and home court throughout (God Willing).

Heres my silly little idea.  You may agree or disagree.  Please chime in.

The Bulls have been an A+ team all year without the MVP.  CJ Watson and JLIII have been absolutely fantastic filling DRose's shoes.

The 'Bench Mob' is precisely the reason the team is where it sits right now.

If the playoffs started today, then we would square off against Philadelphia.

I dress Rose, but I start CJ.  I dress Luol, but I start Brewer.  I start Rip, Boozer and Noah.

Let's see how game one goes like this.

I bet we will still kick the daylights out of the 76ers especially since you're still going to play Rose and Deng throughout the game.

I'd limit then both to about 20-25 minutes.  Let them play, but let them rest.

If it looks like it's going to backfire, then you ditch the idea.  They play more throughout the second half and the leaders will rally their team to victory.

Easy decision for me.  The Bench Mob can beat Phila, but if they can't we'll bring in the starters as backup.

What do you think?  Agree or disagree?  Let us know.

P.S. I've said it all year and I will continue to preach it.  If we meet Miami in the conference finals, then Taj Gibson should 100 percent start in place of Boozer.

He will be far more physical on Bosh and will shut down one of their big three.  Boozer is too soft and gets dominated by Bosh.

Similar to the first round, trust the members of the Bench Mob to do what they've done all the last two seasons - PLAY WELL.

You can always bring Boozer into the game if things start to get out of control.

Personally I think my two thoughts here are fantastic, but I'm a pretty cocky and confident guy.
